Richmond, Fredericksburg & Potomac

This line was a bridge between the railroads in the northeast to the south. I can remember seeing freight trains being moved to Potomac Yard by PRR electric locomotives when in Washington. I also remember seeing some RF&P SW-1500 working in this yard.

The railroad is now gone, part of CSX. The yard is gone, under development including the new stadium. The yard now consists of only the mainline.
